On September 1st, 2019, the Bahamas was struck by the most devastating hurricane in their history. Hurricane Dorian ravaged their island with 185mph winds and torrential rains. Over 60 people lost their lives and hundreds still remain missing. Nearly 50% of the homes on the islands of Abaco and The Great Bahamas were severly damaged or completely destroyed, leaving 70,000 people homeless. Although you no longer hear about this tragedy on the news, the Bahamas are still suffering and struggling to rebuild their islands.
As a small business that suffered through similar circumstances when Hurricane Maria hit Puerto Rico in 2017, we understand what the Bamahas is going through and the hard work that lies ahead for them. We partnered with fellow local businesses to create these shirts and stickers as a showing of support for our Bahamian neighbors.
100% of the proceeds are donated to organizations that are currently helping to rebuild the islands of Abaco and The Great Bahamas.
